Job summary

Lifecare invites applications for a part-time, casual, or sub-contracting Podiatrist to deliver high-quality foot and lower limb care. You will assess, diagnose, treat, and evaluate outcomes within a multidisciplinary team, including diabetic foot health checks and biomechanical assessments.

You will provide footwear advice, orthotic guidance, and maintain thorough documentation while liaising with other health professionals as appropriate.

Qualifications

• Professional registration with AHPRA and qualification as a Podiatrist.
• Willing to undergo a National Criminal history check upon successful application.

• Providing general foot care including assessing, diagnosing, treating and evaluating abnormalities and diseases related to the foot and lower limb.
• Conducting Diabetic foot health assessments.
• Providing footwear and foot care advice and education.
• Diagnosing and effectively treating musculoskeletal conditions via a range of treatments.
• Providing biomechanical examinations and assessments.
• Providing advice on Orthotic prescriptions and fittings.
• Maintaining quality documentation and treatment planning procedures.
• Making referrals to other healthcare professionals as appropriate.

About the role

As a part time, casual, or sub-contracting Podiatrist you will be providing high-quality treatment to our patients to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation and evaluation in a multi-disciplinary setting.

In this role you will be….
