Job summary

Centorrino Technologies in Darwin, NT, is seeking a PMO Project Manager for a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will own project planning, governance, risk management and stakeholder engagement to deliver complex technology projects.

You will work with business stakeholders, vendors and technical teams to translate priorities into successful outcomes, leading multidisciplinary teams and facilitating governance forums.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of formal Project Management experience.
  • Proven delivery of complex business and technology projects.
  • Strong knowledge of PM methodologies, frameworks and delivery controls.
  • Experience with risk, issues, governance, reporting and assurance.

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of complex projects from planning to implementation.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones and delivery controls.
  • Lead governance, reporting and assurance activities.
  • Manage risks, issues, dependencies, actions and change requests.
  • Engage stakeholders, vendors and delivery teams to translate priorities into outcomes.
  • Facilitate workshops and governance forums; provide clear reporting to senior stakeholders.
  • Support change management and transformation activities related to technology implementations.

In this role, you will take ownership of project planning, governance, stakeholder engagement, risk and issue management, and end-to-end delivery. You will work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, subject matter experts and technical teams to translate business priorities into successful project outcomes. This role is a 12-month fixed term contract based in Darwin, NT.

What You'll Do
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex business and technology projects from planning through to implementation.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensiveproject plans, schedules, milestones and delivery controls.
  • Lead project governance, reporting and assurance activities.
  • Manage projectrisks, issues, dependencies, actions and change requests.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders, vendors, subject matter experts and delivery teams.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings and project governance forums.
  • Translate business requirements and priorities into clear project outcomes and delivery plans.
  • Provide strong leadership across multidisciplinary project teams and stakeholders.
  • Support organisationalchange management and transformation activitiesassociated with new technology capabilities.
  • Identify, analyse and manage complex business, regulatory and operational requirements.
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, timelines, resources and quality to ensure successful delivery.
  • Provide clear and concise project reporting to senior stakeholders and governance groups.
  • Lead the resolution of complex project risks, issues and competing priorities.
  • Ensure appropriate governance, probity and project controls are maintained throughout delivery.
  • Develop and maintain project documentation, including plans, reports, registers and supporting artefacts.
  • Work collaboratively with technical teams to understand solution design, integration and implementation considerations.
  • Use tools such asJira, SharePoint, Microsoft Visio and Microsoft Officeto manage and communicate project information.
What You'll Bring
  • 5–10 years of experiencein formal Project Management roles.
  • Proven experience deliveringcomplex business and technology projectsfrom initiation through to implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, frameworks, planning and delivery controls.
  • Demonstrated expertise inrisk and issue management, governance, reporting and project assurance.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across business, technical and vendor environments.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage complex risks, issues and competing priorities while maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Experience supportingorganisational change and business transformationassociated with technology implementations.
  • Strong understanding of project governance, probity and strategic planning.
  • Ability to analyse complexlegislative, regulatory and business requirementsand translate them into practical project outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency withMicrosoft Office, Visio, Jira and SharePoint, or the ability to quickly learn new tools.
  • Understanding ofIT service management principleswould be advantageous.
  • Experience working with technical teams acrosssystem analysis, solution design, integration and interfaces.
  • Experience within large, complex and high-profile ICT project or program environments is highly desirable.
  • Government or public-sector project experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex technical and analytical information in clear, meaningful language.
  • Highly organised, accountable and self-motivated, with a strong focus on delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
  • A collaborative and respectful approach, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
