Job summary

1300apprentice is offering a 1st year Plumbing Apprentice role with a host partner delivering residential and commercial services. You’ll learn across general plumbing duties, reactive repairs, water systems, and project work from plans to execution.

Successful applicants are committed to completing Cert III in Plumbing, have a P licence or better, a white card, and a strong work ethic. Unrestricted work rights in Australia required.

Qualifications

• Commitment to completing a Cert III in Plumbing.
• Australian driver’s licence P or higher & reliable transport.
• Willingness to learn and gain experience.
• Confidence in using basic hand tools.
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Hold a white card or obtain one before starting.
• Commitment to WWC clearance (cost refunded).

Responsibilities

• Assist with general plumbing duties.
• Perform reactive repairs and maintenance.
• Learn pumping, filtration, and water treatment.
• Install water harvesting, sewer and stormwater services.
• Work on residential and commercial projects.
• Read plans and assist in setting out work.
• Observe safe excavation practices and turf drainage.
• Maintain a clean job site after work.

1300apprentice has an opportunity for a 1st year Plumbing Apprentice to join our host partner, who offers a wide range of services to residential and commercial clients. Their reputation for high-quality work and exceptional customer service has resulted in continuous growth. This is a highly sought-after skills shortage trade.

Some of what you will learn:

• Assist with general plumbing duties
• How to perform reactive repairs & maintenance
• Pumping, filtration, and water treatment
• Install water harvesting, sewer & stormwater services
• work on residential and commercial projects
• Read plans & assist in setting out work
