Job summary

Smarter Bathrooms and Kitchens – Port Melbourne VIC is seeking a highly experienced plumber to join as a subcontractor. You will work on renovation and new builds, with a focus on bathroom and kitchen plumbing, able to work autonomously and as part of a team.

You must have your own ABN, a suitable work vehicle, tools, insurances, and be committed to health and safety. A National Police check is required before commencement.

Qualifications

• Experience in renovation works, bathroom experience essential.
• Must have ABN, suitable work vehicle, tools of the trade and appropriate insurances.
• National Police check required before employment.

Responsibilities

• Renovation and new builds.
• Rough-ins including set outs from plans.
• Fit offs.
• General plumbing maintenance.
• Work autonomously and solve problems; contribute to team when needed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Own hand tools and cordless kit
• Competent in under slab drainage, stacks, rough-ins & fit offs
• Reliable and hard working
• A good attention to detail and plumbing regulations
• Extensive experience in bathroom and kitchen plumbing

• Renovation and new builds
• Rough-ins including set outs from detailed plans

Customer Service and Communication

The successful applicant will have a true understanding of and enjoy customer service and interaction. You must be tidy and presentable, polite and friendly at all times.

Great customer service is key to our reputation, and you must be able to make the customer feel comfortable and secure that they are in safe hands.

You must understand the importance of running a clean and safe work site.

Whilst you must be able to work autonomously you must understand the importance of teamwork.

Experience Required

You will be experienced in renovation works and specific bathroom experience is essential.

You need to take reasonable care to ensure own health and safety and that of others, including adhering to health and safety policies and applicable safe work procedures. We are looking for high quality; experienced tradesmen and we can offer great career development opportunities.
