Interpret plans, supervise apprentices, ensure quality workmanship, safety on site, and clear communication with strata managers and property owners to keep every project on schedule and to a high standard.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Leading Hand Plumber who thrives on the tools while effectively managing jobs on-site. You will bridge the gap between project management and high-skilled labor—leading by example, keeping projects on schedule, and handling everything from detailed high-end renovation fit-outs to diverse strata maintenance jobs.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute high-end residential and commercial plumbing installations, rough-ins, and fit-outs with precision.
• Lead day-to-day operations on job sites, managing workflow, materials, and small teams or apprentices.
• Deliver flawless work on detailed bathroom, kitchen, and custom space renovations.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex strata and commercial maintenance issues promptly.
• Interpret plans, liaise directly with clients, strata managers, and builders, and maintain professionalism on all sites.
• Ensure strict quality control, site safety, and high standards of workmanship across all jobs.

What We’re Looking For

Qualified Plumber: Fully licensed/qualified plumber with proven trade experience.

Leadership Skills: Previous experience as a Leading Hand or a natural ability to run jobs and lead on-site.

Diverse Skillset: Strong background in premium renovations as well as strata and commercial maintenance work.

Eye for Detail: Meticulous approach to finishing work—perfectionists welcomed.

Reliability & Communication: Self-motivated, punctual, and comfortable communicating with strata managers and property owners.

Valid Driver’s License and relevant trade certifications.
