Job summary

Rockhampton Regional Council is seeking a trade-qualified plumber to join the Facilities Services team, delivering plumbing and drainage maintenance across Council assets in the Rockhampton region.

You will carry out planned, corrective and reactive works, installations, and statutory maintenance, with opportunities to support minor capital projects. Emphasis on safety, compliance, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified plumber with current Plumber and Drainer Licence, QBCC Licence and White Card.
• Demonstrated experience in plumbing and drainage installation, maintenance and repair across a variety of facilities and assets.
• Ability to interpret plans and specifications and contribute to the delivery of maintenance and project works.

Responsibilities

• Carry out a broad range of planned, corrective and reactive plumbing maintenance works.
• Support minor capital projects on Council assets.
• Perform installations, statutory maintenance, repairs and drainage works to comply with legislation and standards.
