Job summary

Jeremy Macpherson Plumbing, based in Sydney's Sutherland Shire, seeks a seasoned plumber to own complex projects across maintenance, gas, drainage, roofing and commercial works. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role requiring a trades licence and a track record of reliability.

You’ll join a tight-knit team, manage varied jobs daily, and contribute to a culture of craftsmanship and pride in workmanship. The role offers long-term security and strong company support.

Qualifications

• Plumbing trade licence (Cert III minimum) required or equivalent.
• Proven experience across all plumbing disciplines.
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail.
• Confidence working solo and leading by example.
• Friendly, professional communication with clients.
• Good time management and strong reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and drainage tasks across sites.
• Gas fitting, hot water work, pipe relining and fit-offs.
• Roofing and roof leak repairs as needed.
• Fireplace installations and related work.
• Commercial plumbing and renovations.
• Backflow prevention and TMV (must have).
• Relining experience is a plus.

About the Role

This is not an entry-level position — it’s for a seasoned plumber who can jump straight in and take ownership of their jobs. This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role — perfect for someone who wants to own their jobs and make a real impact.

You’ll work across a wide variety of projects, from maintenance and gas fitting to roofing, drainage, and fireplace installations.

Every day is different, and every task requires someone who knows their trade inside out.

What You’ll Be Doing

Every day’s different. You’ll take on:

• General maintenance and drainage

• Gas fitting, hot water, pipe relining & fit-offs

• Roofing & roof leak repairs

• Fireplace installations

• Commercial plumbing & renovations

• Backflow & TMV (must have)

• Relining experience - preferred
