Platypus Shoes is seeking an Assistant Store Manager for our Rundle Mall store in Adelaide. Working with the Store Manager, you will lead a team of casual staff, drive sales, and uphold premium customer service.

This role focuses on coaching, roster planning, stock management, and maintaining store standards. You will develop leadership skills in a fast-paced retail environment and contribute to a vibrant, inclusive team culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a senior casual, key holder, 3IC, or supervisor in a high-volume retail environment.
• Proven ability to lead a team and deliver strong results in sales and KPIs.
• Hands-on leader with a 'Make it Happen' mindset.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for coaching others.
• Operational know-how across stock management and visual merchandising.
• Enthusiasm for customer experience and premium products.
• Sunday to Thursday roster with two consecutive days off.

About the Role

As the Assistant Manager at Platypus Shoes Rundle Mall , you'll work side-by-side with the Store Manager to support a team of passionate casual team members. Your focus will be on driving sales and KPIs, coaching the team, and delivering next-level customer service. You'll play a key role in creating an energetic store culture, while developing your leadership skills in a fast-paced, high-impact retail environment.
