Responsibilities

• Administer, support, and enhance Jira Data Center, Confluence Data Center, and Atlassian Crowd on Linux.
• Configure Jira projects, workflows, issue types, screens, fields, and permission schemes.
• Design, manage, and optimize Confluence spaces, templates, and collaboration structures.
• Integrate Atlassian tools with GitHub, LDAP/AD, SSO, and other systems.
• Perform platform upgrades, patching, migrations, and health checks.
• Develop automation scripts to streamline admin tasks and improve efficiency.
• Support Agile teams by enhancing Jira boards, workflows, reporting, and dashboards.
• Maintain technical docs and runbooks; ensure knowledge base accuracy.
• Provide L2/L3 support, incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem management per ITIL.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, collaborative solutions.

Job Description:

Location: Sydney/Melbourne

Experience: 7+ Years

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, support, and enhance Jira Data Center, Confluence Data Center, and Atlassian Crowd environments on Linux platforms.
• Configure and maintain Jira projects, workflows, issue types, screens, custom fields, permission schemes, notification schemes, and automation rules.
• Design, manage, and optimize Confluence spaces, templates, permissions, and collaboration frameworks.
• Integrate Atlassian products with enterprise applications such as GitHub, LDAP/Active Directory, SSO solutions, and other business systems.
• Perform platform upgrades, patching, migrations, capacity planning, and health checks to ensure platform stability and performance.
• Develop automation solutions and custom scripts to streamline administration and operational processes.
• Support Agile teams by enhancing Jira boards, workflow efficiencies, reporting, and dashboard capabilities.
• Maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and knowledge-base articles.
• Provide L2/L3 support, incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and problem management in accordance with ITIL practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, development teams, and platform users to deliver scalable solutions and continuous improvements.
