Job summary

Macquarie Group’s DevOps team builds pipelines, automation, and tooling to ship code to production quickly, safely and frictionlessly for developers. You will lead a high‑performing team responsible for developer experience and automation within Cyber Engineering, delivering a modern internal platform across identity, security and data platforms.

You will drive platform automation maturity, adopt DevOps best practices, and champion security‑by‑design with governance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a team of DevOps engineers.
• Experience designing secure, scalable cloud-native platforms (AWS/Azure, hybrid).
• Ability to design CI/CD pipelines, IaC, container platforms, secret and identity integration.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and grow a team of DevOps engineers.
• Define and deliver a modern internal platform enabling secure, scalable engineering across identity, security and data platforms.
• Drive platform-as-a-product mindset to improve developer productivity and automation maturity.
