Job summary

SMD PLASTERING PTY LTD in Melbourne, Victoria, is seeking an experienced Plasterer for a full-time role to carry out plastering and finishing works on residential and commercial projects.

You will read building plans, prepare walls and ceilings, apply plaster and render, install plasterboard, and complete finishing to a high standard while coordinating with other trades and maintaining safe, tidy work areas.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of plastering experience.
• Ability to read and interpret building plans.
• Experience with plasterboard installation and finishing.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret building plans, drawings and specs.
• Prepare walls and ceilings for plastering and finishing.
• Apply plaster, render and finishes to surfaces.
• Install and repair plasterboard and related materials.
• Coordinate with other trades to ensure on-schedule progress.
• Maintain tools and work areas in a clean, safe condition.
