Job summary

Boral is seeking a Night Shift Plant Operator at Maldon Quarry to safely operate mobile and fixed plant equipment, including Haul Truck, Excavator, and Front-End Loader, and to manage the crushing process.

You will support safety initiatives, participate in pre-start checks, and work within a team on a rotating roster. We offer comprehensive training, a permanent role, and overtime allowances to reward performance.

Qualifications

• Experience with mobile plant operation is essential.
• HR truck licence is advantageous but not required.
• Quarry experience is valued but not necessary.
• Self-motivated with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team with minimal supervision.
• Available to work a rotating roster

Your day will involve:

• Operate quarry mobile plant and equipment (Haul Truck, Excavator, and/or Front-End Loader) safely and efficiently.
• Manage the operation of the crushing plant with precision.
• Perform basic maintenance and maintain plant cleanliness.
• Engage in problem-solving and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
• Participate in safety initiatives, including pre-start checks, toolbox talks, and incident reporting.

What are we looking for?

• Experience with mobile plant operation is essential (Sales Loader experience is a bonus).
• HR truck licence is advantageous but not required.
• Quarry experience is valued but not necessary.
