Job summary

Tablelands Regional Council seeks a skilled Plant Operator (Construction) to safely operate and maintain the road services fleet on a full-time basis in the Tablelands Region. You will support construction and maintenance projects with a strong emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

The role requires current Skid Steer and Roller tickets, a White Card, and an MR or higher driver’s licence, plus a commitment to teamwork and reliability in a diverse local government environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Our Malanda team is looking for a skilled and experienced Plant Operator (Construction) to join our Road Services department on a full-time, permanent basis.

In this role, you will be responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of Council's truck and plant fleet, supporting essential road construction and maintenance projects across the Tablelands Region.

We are seeking a dedicated professional who will bring a high standard of labouring and machinery expertise to ensure our infrastructure projects are completed effectively.

What you need to succeed:

• Mandatory Qualifications: You must hold a current Skid Steer and Roller ticket, White Card & a MR or above Drivers Licence.

• Base salary package from $63,250.75 per annum; $2,432.72 per fortnight
