Job summary

Randstad is seeking a skilled Forklift licensed and Loader ticketed concrete labourer to join our team at the Townsville plant. You will operate forklifts, load/unload materials, and support site with safe handling of concrete batching operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating loaders and forklifts in industrial settings.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Forklift licensed and preferable Loader ticketed concrete labourer to join our team!

As a Forklift and Loader licensed concrete labourer, you will play a crucial role in our operations by efficiently and safely handling materials and equipment within our concrete batching plant.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant.
• Load and unload materials from trucks, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages or discrepancies to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including storage areas and equipment.
• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Operator bagging machine
• Assist with other duties as needed, including general Labour tasks and plant maintenance.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating loaders and forklifts in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Valid certification to operate forklifts and loaders (if required by local regulations).
• Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to equipment operation.
• Ability to work efficiently and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labour and operate equipment for extended periods.
• Flexibility to work overtime, as needed.Monday to Friday normal hours.
