BOC Limited Australia is seeking a Site Supervisor for Altona, Victoria, to lead day-to-day plant operations and ensure safe, compliant, and efficient performance across sites including Geelong ASU and Westernport ASU. The role requires 5+ years in industrial gas or refinery settings with supervisory responsibilities and a valid driver's license.

Formación

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in industrial gas production, petrochemical or refinery operations with supervisory duties.
• Strong leadership in plant operations, production planning, maintenance coordination and contractor management.
• Solid knowledge of process safety, risk management, permit-to-work systems, MOC and regulatory compliance.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills; able to lead multidisciplinary teams.
• Eligible to travel between sites and respond to emergencies; hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsabilidades

• Lead daily plant operations, including supervision of loading, unloading and LPG transfers; ensure productivity.
• Promote safety culture and compliance with Linde Life Saving Rules and Major Hazard Facility requirements.
• Supervise employees and contractors to meet production and safety standards; coordinate activities.
• Manage production planning, shutdowns, start-ups and emergency response with regulatory compliance.
• Issue work permits and oversee safe work practices; act as Emergency Warden and coordinate drills.
• Ensure timely delivery outcomes; manage stock control and chemical handling.
• Prepare and distribute daily production reports; coordinate transportation docs and training initiatives.
• Drive operational excellence through continuous improvement, cost optimisation, risk management and data-driven monitoring.
