Job summary

Hy-Tec is seeking a Plant Manager to lead our Yatala and Burleigh concrete plants. You will drive safety, quality and customer service in two locations, reporting to the Production Manager. This role supports growth through improvements while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused culture.

Ideal candidates have concrete batching and supervisory experience, cement industry exposure, and strong people management skills, with forklift/loader licenses preferred.

Qualifications

• Concrete batching experience with supervisory leadership.
• Cement industry experience is mandatory.
• Strong people management and leadership skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Forklift and Front-End Loader licenses preferred.
• Strong customer service focus and problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, health, environmental and Chain of Responsibility requirements are met.
• Scheduling & supervision of batching staff across 2 locations.
• Provide supervision to Concrete Agitator Drivers (company & Lorry Owner Drivers).
• Coordinate plant maintenance & perform basic maintenance.
• Manage stocks of raw materials.
• Ensure a high level of customer service.
• Cash Sale Reconciliation.
• Active support to plant staff (including order taking and batching).
• Manage / support Customer Projects.
