Job summary

SRG Global Ltd in Victoria seeks an experienced Plant Inspector to join the Goldfields team on a 2:2 roster. You will lead in-service inspections of boilers, pressure vessels, piping and tanks to applicable codes and client requirements.

The role requires API 510/570, API 653 or NDT qualifications, with strong knowledge of relevant legislation and industry standards. You will prepare scopes, review history, generate reports, and support a high-performance asset care team.

Qualifications

• Ability to review equipment history and inspection findings for accuracy.
• Prepare scopes including any required NDT and ensure compliance with standards.

SRG Global Asset Care are seeking an experienced Plant Inspector to join our team in the Goldfields on a 2:2 roster.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing in-service inspection of pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment as per the applicable code and client requirements.
• Preparing inspection work scopes including any NDT required, review the equipment history and review all findings.
• Preparing reports for the inspections performed on such equipment to the applicable code and client requirements.
• Performing inspections and quality reviews as required by the applicable code and client requirements for pressure equipment including boilers, pressure vessels, pressure piping, storage tanks and associated equipment.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• AICIP or API Certification 510 & 570
• API 653 (highly desirable)
• NDT Certification AINDT (desirable not essential)
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of relevant legislation, codes and standards associated with the in-service inspection of pressure systems, plant and equipment.
• Working knowledge and experience in relevant industry (mining refinery resources) with exposure to heavy industrial/process/mining plant
