A major infrastructure company in Queensland is seeking a skilled Plant Fitter to maintain and repair a world-class resurfacing fleet. This role offers a competitive salary of $120,000 plus superannuation, and opportunities for travel throughout regional Queensland. Ideal candidates will possess a Mechanical Trade Certificate and a manual drivers’ licence. Join our dedicated team and contribute to the safety and performance of our operations.

What Queensland Rail has to offer:
Working out of our Bohle depot, your role is to maximise machine availability by efficiently maintaining, servicing, repairing and performing approved modifications on our world-class resurfacing fleet. This includes ballast regulators, tamper-liners, and other essential civil plant equipment.
We are a dedicated team of 14 skilled Plant Fitters and 1 Electrician, covering a vast and diverse area stretching from Rockhampton to Cairns, Townsville to Mt Isa, and including the Croydon to Normanton line.

We are committed to the growth and development of our team. In addition to the training mentioned above, you'll have the opportunity to enhance your skills further by obtaining an MR & HR driver’s license, as well as a CAT3 Driver qualification.
