Job summary

BINGO Industries is seeking multiple experienced Plant Fitters to join the Eastern Creek team on Day and Afternoon shifts. You will inspect, diagnose and repair plant equipment including conveyors, bearings, rollers and gearboxes, while performing preventative maintenance to maximise reliability.

Ideal candidates hold a mechanical trade qualification (Fitter/Plant Mechanic) with experience in heavy industrial, quarrying or recycling environments.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as fitter/plant mechanic.
• Experience in heavy industrial, quarrying, recycling or processing.
• Own tools, current driver’s licence and reliable transport.

Responsibilities

• Conduct plant inspections, pre-starts and preventative maintenance.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete repairs.
• Maintain and repair conveyors, bearings, rollers, shafts and gearboxes.
• Perform mechanical maintenance to maximise plant reliability and performance.
• Support scheduled shutdowns and improvement works with the maintenance team.
• Accurately complete maintenance records and reports, while upholding safety standards.

BINGO Industries are looking for multiple experienced Plant Fitters to join our team at Eastern Creek. We currently have opportunities available across both Day and Afternoon Shift. If you’re an experienced fitter who enjoys working in a fast-paced industrial environment, we’d love to hear from you.

Role & Responsibilities

• Multiple Afternoon and evening opportunities available
• Conduct plant inspections, pre-starts and preventative maintenance activities
• Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete repairs in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain and repair plant equipment including conveyors, bearings, rollers, shafts and gearboxes
• Perform mechanical maintenance to maximise plant reliability, efficiency and performance
• Work closely with the maintenance team to complete scheduled shutdown and improvement works
• Accurately complete maintenance records and reports
• Promote a strong safety culture and ensure all work is completed in line with BINGO procedures and standards

What Makes You a GOgetter

• Mechanical trade qualification (Fitter, Plant Mechanic or similar)
• Experience working in a heavy industrial, manufacturing, quarrying, recycling or processing environment
• Strong experience maintaining conveyors, bearings, rollers and associated plant equipment
• Proven ability to diagnose and rectify mechanical faults and breakdowns
• A proactive approach to preventative maintenance and continuous improvement
• Own tools, current driver's licence and reliable transport
• Working at Heights and EWP licences highly regarded
• A strong commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship
