Job summary

A prominent legal firm in Brisbane City is seeking a talented planning and environment lawyer to join their team as either an Associate or Senior Associate. The role focuses on advising clients through all stages of the project lifecycle, from concept to compliance and disputes. Ideal candidates will have between 2 to 9 years of post-admission experience in planning and environment law, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. Qualifications

Our client is a leading mid‑tier law firm with deep expertise in planning & environment law. The firm's P&E practice advises blue‑chip public and private clients across the full project lifecycle – from strategy and approvals through to compliance, disputes and delivery.

The Opportunity

A rare opening now exists for a talented planning and environment lawyer to join this outstanding team as an Associate or Senior Associate, depending on experience.

You’ll enjoy working with a seasoned partner on matters from concept to completion and helping government and corporate clients (from a wide range of industries) steer projects through Australia’s planning and environmental regimes, covering approvals, compliance, disputes and property use.

About You

• 2–9 years’ PAE in planning & environment.
• Ideally a mix of front and back‑end experience (however both not essential).
• Client‑focused communicator who builds strong relationships and delivers practical, commercial solutions.
• Organised, detail‑driven and comfortable managing multiple matters concurrently.
