The Opportunity:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a talented Planning and Mobilisation Co-ordinator to join our supportive, high performing Planning Team.

We are offering a unique, family friendly, 4 days on 3 days off, weekly roster, working one weekend every 6 weeks. Our Planning and Mobilisation Team work closely with our Operations Team and Client Representatives to ensure works are resourced and compliance checked so our site-based teams can execute works efficiently and effectively. The successful applicant will work from our modern and accessible Head Office in Jandakot, with onsite parking provided.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Work closely with the Planning Manager and Mobilisation Team Lead to ensure challenges are escalated appropriately and support provided.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with our onsite Operation Execution team members.
  • Ensure clear written and verbal communication and collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Interface with client counterparts regarding mobilisation and site-access processes or procedures.
  • Accurately maintain and update roster cuts and labour lists for communication to site leaders and client representatives.
  • Be able to prioritise multiple work tasks and possess the ability to maintain a high level of attention to detail.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A desire to achieve results and the ability to accurately manage multiple work fronts.
  • Strong verbal and written skills are imperative for success in this role.
  • Ideally you will have previous experience in resource planning and mobilisation for shutdown maintenance and or project works for Pilbara blue collar mining companies.
  • A very high level of attention to detail is required for this role.
  • Advanced skills in the Office suite of products, demonstrate a methodical and organised approach to work tasks and an ability to problem solve independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience mobilising to Rio Tinto and BHP is advantageous.

Candidates will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical with drug & alcohol tests as part of the recruitment process.

We have an excellent understanding of the requirements for successful mining operation and over the years have built up a good reputation with many mine sites currently operating within the Pilbara.
