Job summary

Griffith University is seeking an experienced Coordinat**or Placements** to lead and coordinate a diverse portfolio of student placements and WIL activities at Brisbane South (Nathan). You will collaborate with staff, students and external partners to ensure well‑planned, high‑quality experiences and strong workforce outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating complex operational programs, placements, Work Integrated Learning or internships.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient with data, reporting and business systems to support decisions.
• Commitment to continuous improvement and service excellence.
• Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate planning, allocation and administration of placements and WIL activities across the School.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership and support to placement staff.
• Develop and maintain relationships with placement providers and industry partners.
• Advise students, staff and partners on placement processes and requirements.
• Monitor compliance and support accreditation activities.
• Use data and reporting to inform planning and decision‑making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and increase capacity.
