Job summary

Mondo Di Pasta & Pizza at QV in Melbourne is seeking a passionate Pizza Chef to join our kitchen team as we open a new venue. You will hand-stretch dough, manage fermentation, prepare ingredients and cook pizzas to a high standard, while keeping a clean, efficient workstation in a busy service.

We offer a supportive kitchen environment with room to grow, and competitive hourly rates based on experience, approximately 38–40 hours per week to start, plus sponsorship after 6 months for the right

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Pizza Chef or similar role.
• Confident with hand-stretching dough.
• Strong understanding of pizza preparation, cooking and service.
• Reliable and punctual under pressure.
• Team player with positive attitude and attention to detail.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Hand-stretch pizza dough confidently and consistently.
• Prepare and handle dough with fermentation knowledge.
• Prepare fresh ingredients and maintain high food quality standards.
• Cook and finish pizzas to a consistently high standard.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Work efficiently during busy service as part of a supportive kitchen team.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and kitchen procedures.
