Job summary

HQ Group’s AFLOAT pop-up restaurant and bar in Melbourne’s CBD is seeking Pizza Chefs of all levels to join the team. Working in a dedicated pizza kitchen, you will deliver hand-stretched Neapolitan pizzas with support from management.

You will work in a high-volume environment without compromising quality, while learning and developing your skills. A rotating roster, weekends and public holidays included, with excellent salary and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• Previous hands-on experience making authentic hand stretched pizzas.
• Experience working in a high volume and fast paced kitchen.
• A passion for all things PIZZA!
• A calm, respectful and professional pizza chef.
• Excellent communication and organisation skills.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and public holidays.

HQ Group’s (Arbory Bar & Eatery, HER, Straight Up Cocktails) annual pop-up restaurant and bar, AFLOAT, is back to grace Melbourne's CBD from August through to June.

Nestled on the North side of ‘Birrarung’, AFLOAT transforms each year with a new fit-out and theme, drawing inspiration from our favourite international holiday destinations.

Season 11 is a vibrant celebration of the Greek Islands - combining bold design, great food and drinks, with music, entertainment and an atmosphere built around good times.

We are currently seeking experienced Pizza Chefs of all levels to join our team at AFLOAT. Working in a dedicated pizza kitchen, you will have the opportunity to deliver the best hand stretched Neapolitan style pizzas in Melbourne.
