Job summary

MinRes is seeking a hands-on data support role within the Technical Services team in the Central Pilbara. The position focuses on in-field sampling, data validation, and ensuring accurate grade and material movement data across our Central Pilbara operations.

It commences on an 8D6X roster flying from Perth. Key tasks include blast-hole sampling, QAQC of laboratory results, ore spotting, stockpile reconciliations, data entry, and communicating variances to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• C class Australian driving license required.
• Demonstrate safe behaviour at all times.
• Proficient with Excel and Word; willing to improve computer skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to self-manage workload.
• Ability to work in team or independently.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability of manual handling tasks.
• Willingness to work in Pilbara conditions.
• Previous exposure to a mining environment beneficial, but not essential.
• General interest in geology desirable.

To provide support in all areas of the Technical Services team with a focus on in-field services such as blast-hole sampling, ore markups and ore spotting. Additional responsibilities supporting the validation of grade block data accuracy and material movements of ore throughout the supply chain from our Central Pilbara operations.

This position will commence on an 8D6X roster flying from Perth.

What is Required

About The Central Pilbara Project

MinRes' Central Pilbara iron ore operation produces approximately 10 million tonnes of direct shipping ore annually, delivered to Port Hedland across two active mine sites - Iron Valley (200km from Newman) and Lamb Creek (150km from Newman).
