Silverstrand Developments is seeking experienced Pipelayers for the BIBO project near Brisbane airport. The role offers 11.5 hour days on a 2/1 roster with camp and meals provided, plus site allowances and penalties after 8 hours, including weekend rates.

Responsibilities include laying various pipes, poly welding, reading plans, and leading small crews while maintaining safety and compliance on a large gas power plant project outside Dalby.

Formación

• Minimum 5+ years' construction experience in pipelaying.
• Ability to lay storms, sewer and water pipes as required.
• Poly Welding tickets are advantageous.
• Experience on subdivisions, road upgrades and pipeline projects.
• Dogman and Confined Space tickets required.
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol test.

Responsabilidades

• Laying BlackMax pipe 300–600mm+.
• RCP pipe laying and poly welding.
• Running small crews and setting up pipe lasers.
• Reading and following plans accurately.
• Dogging suspended loads safely and securing for excavators.
• Rigging loads and working around high risk machinery.
• General labouring and trade assistant tasks as required.
• Ensuring site safety and environmental compliance.

Silverstrand is seeking Experienced Pipelayers

BIBO project - Brisbane airport bus pick up - 2/1 roster. Camp and Meals provided.

11.5 hour days.

Large gas power plant project just outside of Dalby.

Pre-Employment medical required.

SEQ workers only.

Full Time

Pipelayers - $54.00 P/H+ Super + Penalties after 8 hours + Allowances ($5.50 P/H Site allowances,$1.50 P/H tool allowances, etc) + Saturday and Sunday penalty rates.

About the role

This role is responsible for (but not limited to):

• Laying BlackMax Pipe 300 - 600mm+
• RCP Pipe
• Poly Welding
• Running small crews
• Setting up pipe lasers
• Ability to work directly from plans
• Safely dogging suspended loads accurately
• Rigging and securing loads for excavator placements
• Working safely around high risk machinery
• General labouring and trade assistant work as required
• Ability to read and understand plans
• Ensuring compliance with site safety & environmental requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years' construction experience in pipelaying
• Ability to lay a variety of pipes ranging from Stormwater, Sewer and Water when required
• Poly Welding Tickets - Advantageous
• Experience on Subdivisions, Road upgrades and pipeline projects
• Experience with the technical aspects of pipe laying
• Dogman and Confined Space tickets required
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test
