Zusammenfassung

Monash University invites applications for two Research Fellows to join the OzGrav Centre of Excellence for Gravitational Wave Discovery at the Clayton campus. You will conduct research in gravitational-wave data analysis, astrophysics of GW sources, and tests of general relativity, working within a team of leading scientists.

A PhD in a relevant field is required, with experience in GW astronomy, Bayesian methods, and time-series analysis.

Qualifikationen

• PhD in astrophysics, physics, computer science, statistics, mathematics, or a closely related field.
• Experience in gravitational-wave astronomy, Bayesian methods, time-series analysis, general relativity, and/or high-energy astrophysics.
• Analytical and manuscript preparation skills with refereed research track record.

Aufgaben

• Carry out research in gravitational-wave data analysis and related astrophysics.
• Contribute to OzGrav Centre of Excellence projects at Monash University.
