Job summary

Weir Group, based in Perth, Australia, is seeking a Regional Manager to lead Pilbara sales and strategy, building strong customer partnerships in the mining sector. The role requires a proven sales track record, leadership capabilities, and a focus on safety and efficiency.

You will drive annual business plans, oversee Area Managers, and participate in lean improvements while travelling to project sites as needed. An engineering background or mining experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' sales experience with a strong track record of results and team leadership.
• Customer-focused commercial mindset with the ability to build and maintain stakeholder relationships at all levels.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with confidence presenting to diverse audiences.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP.
• Experience in strategic business planning, lean continuous improvement initiatives, and safety and environmental compliance.

Responsibilities

• Sales and Strategy Leadership: Lead the Pilbara region’s sales and strategy efforts with growth opportunities and multilevel customer relationships.
• Business Planning and Execution: Prepare, present, and implement annual business plans to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Team Management and Development: Supervise and train Area Managers with ongoing development programs.
• Operational Excellence: Lead cross-functional lean programs to improve profitability through margins and overhead management.
• Travel Requirements: Frequent travel to project locations within the region.
• Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to zero harm.
