Job summary

Yurra Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Civil Projects Superintendent to lead key works in Karratha, WA. This permanent, full-time role focuses on culvert works and KTP4 scope, with a 9-day fortnight roster (5 on/2 off and 4 on/3 off) for a local Karratha-based leader.

You will manage daily operations across civil sites, ensuring safety, schedule, and budget adherence while liaising with clients and subcontractors. Extensive Pilbara knowledge is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years’ leadership experience in civil construction or infrastructure.
• RTIO Induction preferred or willingness to obtain.
• Experience in Civil Mining works or Culvert relining advantageous, or similar civil works.
• Strong understanding of the Pilbara region and operational challenges.
• Effective communicator with client management and team leadership skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily operations across civil project sites.
• Oversee Supervisors and project teams to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
• Ensure adherence to schedules, scope, safety, and budget.
• Act as the key liaison with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Drive a safety-first culture across all project activities and company policies.
• Plan resources for upcoming work, assess risks, and manage changes.
• Troubleshoot resource issues in a team and autonomous setting.
