Job summary

Galaxy 2014 is seeking a casual RF scanner pick packer in Laverton North, VIC. Day shifts run Monday to Friday with a starting pay of $33.85 per hour plus Super. The role focuses on accurate picking, packing, and efficient dispatch within a clean, safety‑driven warehouse.

You'll work with handheld RF scanners, build pallets, and assist with stock replenishment while adhering to WHS procedures and maintaining a safe, organized distribution area.

About the Opportunity

ESP Recruitment is currently looking for a RF scanner pick packer to join our client, a leading company in Laverton North. Our client runs a clean, modern, and highly efficient facility where safety comes first and team culture matters. We are looking for experienced Pick Packers / RF Scanners.

In this role, you will be a vital part of the daily dispatch cycle, utilizing RF scanners to locate, pick, and pack a high volume of orders with accuracy and efficiency. This is an ongoing position in a fast-paced environment perfect for detail-oriented operators who pride themselves on getting the job done safely.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack customer orders using handheld RF scanners.
• Build and wrap pallets securely, preparing orders for swift dispatch.
• Handle stock safely, moving cartons and items up to [e.g., 20kg–25kg].
• Perform routine inventory checks and assist with general stock replenishment.
• Adhere strictly to warehouse Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) procedures and site protocols.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe distribution environment.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience as a Pick Packer within a distribution center or 3PL warehouse environment.
• Confident and proficient experience using handheld RF scanners.
• Strong physical fitness, comfortable with repetitive manual handling and being on your feet.
• High attention to detail with an focus on order accuracy.
• Reliable transport and a track record of excellent punctuality.
