Morcofresh is seeking enthusiastic Pick Packers for a casual position at our Lidcombe distribution centre. Join a fast-paced team responsible for accurate picking, packing and dispatch to customers.

Flexible shift options include 12:00 pm–6:00 pm and 6:00 pm–12:00 am, with emphasis on accuracy, teamwork and safety. Ideal candidates will have prior pick/pack experience in fresh produce or food logistics, be reliable and able to work across shifts and weekends if required.

About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Pick Packers to join the Morcofresh team on a casual basis. This is a hands‑on position in our fast‑paced logistics and distribution centre located in Lidcombe, NSW 2141. As a Pick Packer, you will be integral to ensuring our products are accurately selected, packed and prepared for dispatch to our customers.

This role offers multiple shift times to suit different availability, with the following options available:

12:00 pm – 6:00 pm

6:00 pm – 12:00 am

This flexibility makes the role ideal for those seeking casual work with a choice of shift times. You will work in a dynamic warehouse environment where efficiency, accuracy and teamwork are paramount.

What you'll be doing

Accurately picking products from shelving and storage areas according to order specifications and warehouse management system instructions

Carefully packing items into boxes, cartons or containers, ensuring products are secure and protected during transit

Applying labels, barcodes and shipping information to packed items in a timely and accurate manner

Maintaining accurate records of picked and packed items using warehouse management systems

Inspecting items for quality and ensuring they meet company standards before packing

Operating material handling equipment such as trolleys and pallet jacks as required

Maintaining a clean, organised and safe workspace in compliance with health and safety regulations

Meeting daily productivity targets whilst maintaining high standards of accuracy

Communicating effectively with team members and supervisors to resolve any issues or discrepancies

Contributing to a positive team environment and supporting colleagues when needed

What we're looking for

Proven experience working as a Pick Packer, warehouse operative or similar role in a fast‑paced distribution environment

Strong attention to detail with the ability to pick and pack items accurately and efficiently

Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks, lift items regularly and stand for extended periods

Competency in using warehouse management systems and basic computer literacy

Availability to work one or more of our available shifts: 12:00 pm–6:00 pm, or 6:00 pm–12:00 am

Ability to work flexibly across different days, including weekends where required

Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet productivity targets

A safety‑conscious mindset with knowledge of workplace health and safety practices

Strong communication and teamwork skills with a willingness to collaborate with colleagues

Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual shift work

A valid driver’s licence is advantageous

Previous experience in the fresh produce or food logistics sector is preferred
