Job summary

seek.com.au partners with a global manufacturer and importer of electrical products seeking an experienced Pick Packer and Forklift Operator to join the receiving team in Sydney, starting immediately. Based a short 5-minute stroll from Mascot station, duties include picking and packing orders and packing consignments by transport mode.

You will operate a forklift (high reach and counterbalance), perform cycle counts, stock organisation and palletising, and label products.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence (high reach) required.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• ERP systems experience, preferably SAP.
• Experience with RF scanning.
• Must have valid work rights in Australia to apply.
• Ability to lift 20 kg or more.

Based a short 5-minute stroll from Mascot station and reporting to the Receiving Supervisor, your duties will include:

Picking and packing orders

Picking material according to RF instructions

Pack consignments according to mode of transport

Cycle counting, stock organisation and palletising

Securely pack completed orders and accurately label products

Operating the Forklift (High reach and Counterbalance)

To be considered successful for this role, you will have the following:

Good written and verbal communication skills

Previous warehouse experience

Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS)

Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP

Experience with RF scanning

Must have a valid Forklift Licence (high reach)

Ability to lift 20kg or more if needed

High attention to detail

Able to work independently and in a team

You must have relevant work rights in Australia to apply for this position

Must be available to work between Monday to Friday, between 7.00 am to 3.00 pm.
