Job summary

Nuevo Medical on the Gold Coast is seeking an AHPRA-registered Physiotherapist to join a growing, multidisciplinary centre in Bundall. You will shape and lead the Physiotherapy service within an integrated medical environment, working with GPs, cardiologists, and allied health professionals to drive coordinated care and meaningful patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration is required to practise as a Physiotherapist.
• Professional indemnity insurance is mandatory.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess, treat and manage a broad range of Physiotherapy patients.
• Coordinate patient care with GPs, cardiologists and allied health clinicians.
• Collaborate with Exercise Physiologists, Dietitians and Clinical Psychology where needed.
• Develop treatment and rehabilitation plans integrated with broader medical care.
• Support transition from treatment to long-term exercise and conditioning.
• Contribute to chronic disease and preventive health programs.
• Utilise the rehabilitation gym and equipment in patient care.
• Communicate progress clearly with referring doctors and clinicians.
• Help establish referral pathways, workflows and service standards.
