Job summary

Purple House in Alice Springs, NT, is seeking a physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary primary healthcare team. The role focuses on promoting function, independence, and quality of life for patients with complex chronic conditions.

You will work within a culturally safe, Aboriginal-led organization, providing assessment, treatment, education, and coordinated care across services. A Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy and Australian registration are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Physiotherapy.
• Registered with the National Physiotherapy Board of Australia.
• Experience in primary healthcare settings and multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage physiotherapy needs for a caseload with complex chronic diseases.
• Educate patients on movement, exercise and injury prevention.
• Provide targeted massages and joint manipulation as required.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure holistic care and timely recall of patient needs.
• Maintain high-quality patient records and progress notes.
