Job summary

NSW Health is seeking a Physiotherapist (Lvl 3) in Orthopaedics for a temporary clinical role. You will provide expert orthopaedic physiotherapy care across inpatient and outpatient settings, including post-operative rehab and joint replacement pathways.

The role emphasises quality improvement, participation in research, and supervision of staff and students. Flexible work options, including hybrid hours, may be available to support work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Current Physiotherapy Registration with AHPRA.
• Extensive Orthopaedic Physiotherapy knowledge with inpatient/outpatient experience including post-operative joint replacement.
• Knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development.
• Experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.
• Relevant clinical experience including advanced practice skills and management of a complex orthopaedic caseload.

To help us assess your suitability for the role, please tell us as much as you can about yourself in response to the questions below.

Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

Demonstrated Extensive clinical knowledge in Orthopaedic Physiotherapy with a broad range of inpatient and outpatient clinical experience including post-operative joint replacement and other elective orthopaedic surgery, plastering and orthopaedic rehabilitation in the outpatient setting.

Demonstrated knowledge and experience in quality improvement, research and service development activities.

Demonstrated experience in supervision and teaching of staff and/or students.

Relevant clinical experience including demonstrated advanced practice skills and management of a complex orthopaedic physiotherapy caseload.
