Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a physiotherapist to deliver effective community assessments and interventions for frail aged and adults with disabilities through the Home Based Therapy service. The position is located at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with potential site rotations across SLHD facilities.

Ideal candidates hold a physiotherapy degree, AHPRA registration, and postgraduate experience in aged care or community rehab; a NSW Driver Licence is expected.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Postgraduate experience in physiotherapy, especially aged care or community rehab.
• Clean NSW driver’s license (P1/P2 acceptable).

Responsibilities

• Provide community physiotherapy assessments and interventions for Home Based Therapy clients.
• Support clients across three SLHD sites to achieve optimal health outcomes.
• Work at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital with potential rotations to Canterbury or Concord hospitals.

Remuneration: $1,522.06 - $2,171.40 per week + Superannuation

About The Role

To provide effective and efficient community physiotherapy assessments and interventions to the clients of the Home Based Therapy (HBT) service, across three sites within SLHD. Ensuring provision of optimal health outcomes for clients of the service. Clients eligible for the service are frail aged or adults with physical disabilities.

This position is locatied at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital however, may be required to work at Canterbury Hospital or Concord Repatriation General Hospital

Ideal Candidate

• Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA)
• Postgraduate physiotherapy experience, including aged care and/or rehabilitation and experience delivering physiotherapy in the community setting
• Current NSW Drivers Licence (P1 and P2 acceptable).
