Job summary

Nimbus Health is seeking Physiotherapists to deliver community-based physiotherapy services in Melbourne’s Eastern suburbs, supporting clients funded by national schemes. The role emphasizes clinical reasoning, evidence-based practice, and collaboration with care teams.

You will contribute to training materials and process improvements, ensuring high-quality, accessible home-based care for older Australians. A valid AHPRA registration and a driver’s license are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Physiotherapy (or equivalent) required.
• Current AHPRA registration expected.
• Evidence of COVID-19 and flu vaccination.
• Regular access to a car and a valid Australian driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services in the community to clients funded through Support at Home, Short Term Restorative Care and Commonwealth Home Support Programme.
• Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice.
• Review current processes and update team wiki with best practices.
• Collaborate with patient care team and other allied health professionals and care advisers.
• Prepare training and educational materials for partner organisations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physiotherapy services in the community to clients receiving funding through the Support at Home program, Short Term Restorative Care, and the Commonwealth Home Support Programme.


• Utilise clinical reasoning and evidence-based practice


• Continually review our current processes with an eye for improvements, including updating our team wiki with best practice


• Work and communicate with your patient's care team, including other allied health professionals and care advisers at some of Australia's leading organisations


• Prepare training and educational materials for the organisations we work closely with

About You

We are looking for candidates that genuinely care for our clients and want to make each and every experience memorable!
