Job summary

Eldercare is seeking a Physiotherapist to lead mobility and wellbeing initiatives for older South Australians in our not-for-profit aged care settings. The role focuses on 1:1 reablement, group exercise, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to optimise residents’ independence.

You will support residents with exercise programs, clinical assessments, and evidence-based practices while advancing your professional growth within a compassionate, learning-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Physiotherapy with current AHPRA registration.
• Passion for healthy ageing and empowerment.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and development of skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Mobility Assistants to promote residents' mobility.
• Work in a multidisciplinary team with OTs, nurses, dietitians, social workers and dementia specialists.
• Deliver intensive 1:1 reablement programs and group exercise for residents.
• Provide comprehensive clinical assessment and treatment and support residents to achieve goals.
