Job summary

MET Phys is recruiting a Physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team in Highfields, Queensland. You will assess, diagnose and treat individuals with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions, developing personalized rehabilitation plans to improve function.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in anatomy and biomechanics, with evidence-based rehabilitation techniques, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
• Master's degree preferred; registration through AHPRA.
• Proven experience in assessing and treating patients with diverse musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to establish rapport with patients and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and treat clients with MSK, neuro, and cardiopulmonary conditions.
• Develop personalized treatment plans and implement evidence-based interventions.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Contribute to management, supervision, mentoring, and project initiatives.

Position Overview:

As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions. Utilizing your expertise in anatomy, biomechanics, and rehabilitation techniques, you will provide personalized care, develop treatment plans, and implement evidence-based interventions to optimize functional outcomes. Guided by our company values of teamwork, honesty, empathy, empowerment, and community engagement, you will contribute to creating a supportive and healing environment for our clients. Additionally, there are opportunities for management, supervision, mentoring, projects, marketing, and enhancing the client experience. Our physiotherapy space includes private consult rooms, gym space, kids therapy room, small groups room (trap table, wunda chair and reformer) and access to Elevation Studios with 8 reformers.

The ideal candidates would have an interest in paediatric physiotherapy and/or neurological physiotherapy.
