Job summary

SportsFit Health and Rehab is seeking a physiotherapist to join our Sydney-area clinics on a part-time basis with a path to full-time as caseload grows. The role targets new graduates or early-career physios seeking volume, structure, and teaching.

Expect work across gym-based rehab, field sessions, and ACL-focused care with mentorship from senior staff. The role starts in 2026 three days per week, transitioning to full-time in 2027 as caseload expands.

• Full AHPRA registration or pending if graduating this year.
• Willingness to do sport coverage.
• Driver's license required.
• Genuine interest in sport.
• Legally eligible to work in Australia (no sponsorship).

Responsibilities

• Treat a general sports caseload with exposure to ACL programming from day one.
• Benchmark ACL outcomes against our patient cohort and data.
• Provide gym-based rehab, field sessions and semi-private gym training.
• Support winter sports coverage and track record for clinical niche development.

Your Demographic

• We have one of the biggest private practice case loads in Sydney, with our clinicians on average having a load of around 30% of their weekly load ACL
• Currently the Performance and Rehab partner for Triathlon NSW
• Work with multiple club work across the Inner West including Inner West Magpies AFL, Sydney Cricket Club,Greenlees Netball and Sydney Uni Rugby League Club with more planned for 2027

About the Role

We are looking for a physiotherapist to join us initially part time in 2026 (three days per week),moving to full time in early 2027 as your caseload grows

This suits a new graduate or early-career physio who wants volume, structure and a real teaching environment. New grads applying for 2027 are also welcome to apply to start next year

What You'll Step Into

We do see EPC and Workcover/CTP but most of our load is general sports caseload with exposure to the ACL programme from day one

Benchmarking every ACL against our own patient cohort (we regular to a data analysis across our ACL cohort)

Gym-based rehab, field sessions and semi-private gym sessions. Training will be provided in running gym based rehab and field sessions for the appropraite canditate.

Winter sports coverage will be an essential part of the role, and support will be provided to place you in the right role

Support to grow in your clinical niche, or area of interest

Who You'll Work With

A multidisciplinary team: six physios, a chiropractor, a remedial massage therapist, exercise physiologists and a strength and conditioning coach

Mentorship from a Titled Sports Physiotherapist

• 1–2 hours of one-to-one mentoring every week, scheduled
• Weekly group in-services
• Weekly team meetings and case conferences
• Quarterly lectures from external experts: shoulder surgeons, sports doctors and specialists in the field
• Quarterly team dinners and outings

$1,500 CPD budget (pro rata)

Essential

• Full AHPRA registration, or registration pending if you graduate this year
• Willingness to do sport coverage.
• A driver's licence
• A genuine interest in sport
• Legally eligible to work in Australia (no sponsorship available)

Desirable

• SIRA accreditation, or willingness to obtain it
• Prior sideline or club experience
