Job summary

MyoActive Sports Medicine in Burwood East, Melbourne, seeks an experienced Physiotherapist to provide 1:1 consultations with tailored follow-ups and comprehensive assessments. You will mentor junior staff, run small group rehab and conditioning sessions, and optionally lead Clinical Pilates classes.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Degree in Physiotherapy and current AHPRA registration.
• Minimum 3 years of private practice experience.
• Professional indemnity insurance required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 1:1 Physiotherapy consultations with 45-min initial and 30/45–60-min follow-ups.
• Perform functional, postural, and sports-specific assessments for complex cases.
• Mentor and support junior physiotherapists within the team.
• Deliver small group Strength, Rehab, Work Cover and TAC sessions.
• Deliver Clinical Pilates classes based on training and interest (optional).
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (physio, osteo, myo and more).
• Help grow the clinic's reputation through community and referrer engagement.
• Commit to holistic, evidence-informed care.

Key responsibilities

Mentor and support junior physiotherapists within the team

Deliver small group Strength, Rehab, Work Cover + TAC sessions

About you

Degree in Physiotherapy

Minimum 3 years' experience in private practice

Current AHPRA registration and professional indemnity insurance

Advanced manual therapy and assessment skills with a holistic clinical lens

Trained or experienced in Clinical Pilates and/or Strength & Conditioning

Confident, experienced clinician comfortable managing complex caseloads

Great communicator who thrives in a team-based, collaborative setting

Proactive, self-motivated clinician who genuinely wants to grow and help others grow

Available 4–5 days a week, Monday to Friday, 9am–5pm

Passionate about health, movement, and making a real impact
