Overview

At Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we are passionate about our students and their wellbeing and education. This position is for a Physical Education teacher for Year 1 - Year 6, 2 days a week (currently Tuesday and Wednesday, days subject to confirmation). There is also the possibility of other part time work at our school to accompany this role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an engaging and fun-filled Physical Education Program, including weekly lessons.
• Coordinate interschool sport events and contribute as part of a professional, collaborative school team.

Requirements / Qualifications

• VIT Registration
• Accreditation to teach in a Catholic School is desirable
• Understanding of MACS 2030 Strategic Plan and a commitment to the Vision For Instruction and Vision for Engagement
• Commitment to Child Safety Policies and Practices
• Highly developed personal skills in professional collaboration and relationship building
• Well-developed ICT skills for planning, assessing, reporting and record keeping
• Be innovative in providing a range of rich learning experiences in Physical Education
• Strong understanding of the Physical Education Curriculum
