Job summary

Nexigen Digital Pty is seeking a Software Engineer to join our Australian team. You will work in an agile setting to deliver features and improvements to internal and customer-facing systems.

The role emphasizes collaboration, learning, and contributing to diverse projects across platforms. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in PHP development, strong MVC knowledge, and experience with Laravel/Symfony/Phalcon, Linux CLI, MySQL, and external API integrations.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of PHP development experience, including hands-on projects.
• Strong understanding of PHP and MVC patterns.
• Experience with PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, Phalcon.
• Comfort with Linux CLI and relational databases (MySQL/MariaDB).
• Experience integrating with external APIs and version control systems.

Responsibilities

• Build secure, scalable code across platforms.
• Maintain and improve core billing and CRM systems and registrar platforms.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to scope, test, and deploy features.
• Handle complex integration scenarios with external providers.
• Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies.
