Job summary

Our client, a rapidly expanding forex broker in Chatswood, is seeking a passionate PHP Developer to join the software development team. You will contribute to backend services and API integrations in a growing trading company led by experienced professionals.

Ideal candidates have 3-5 years in backend roles, strong Laravel experience, and solid knowledge of TDD, REST, MySQL and NoSQL databases. A proactive, can-do attitude is essential.

Qualifications

3-5 years' experience in a back-end development role.
Experience with PHP MVC frameworks – Laravel.
Familiarity with TDD, REST API, MySQL.
Experience with NOSQL databases and related implementations.
Previous experience with GIT is advantageous.
Proficiency in modern development principles and practices (Design Patterns, Object Oriented Programming, SOLID Principles, TDD).

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using PHP/Laravel.
Implement RESTful APIs and data model designs.
Work with MySQL and NoSQL databases.
Follow TDD and SOLID design principles.
