Job summary

Lumina Corp is seeking a Photonics Fabrication and Test Engineer to translate device concepts into repeatable, high-yield fabrication flows. You will lead process development, integration, metrology, and yield improvements across the fabrication and test loop.

The role requires deep hands-on experience with photonics fabrication and advanced metrology, collaborating with design and characterization teams to improve device performance and manufacturability.

Qualifications

• PhD in Physics, Engineering, or equivalent.
• 2+ years hands-on semiconductor/photonics fabrication experience.
• Expert in EBL, ICP-RIE, PECVD, Thermal Evap, SEM and other metrology tools.
• Experience working in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, own, and improve end-to-end photonics process flows (process integration, recipe development, yield improvement)
• Run and refine core cleanroom steps (lithography, etch, deposition, lift-off, cleaning, anneals)
• Establish robust process windows, controls, and documentation
• Drive metrology feedback loops to correlate process to device performance
• Collaborate across fabrication, design, and characterization to improve performance, repeatability, and manufacturability
• Run post-fabrication test and characterisation flows to measure design performance.
