What You’ll Do

This role is an exciting opportunity for a mid level Photographer with experience in fast-paced production environments, a creative talent keen to create high-quality visual content for high-volume e-commerce and social media platforms. You\'ll be excited about the opportunity to collaborate within a dynamic team, jumping at the opportunity for professional development and exposure to innovative industry practices.

As a dedicated studio Photographer, your advanced proficiency with professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, studio lighting, and tethered shooting software will be essential. You will execute high-volume product and lifestyle photography (still life, flat lay, on-model), ensuring strict adherence to client brand guidelines and technical specifications. This involves preparing for shoots by understanding briefs, setting up equipment, and working closely with Stylists, Production Coordinators, and the Ecomm Studio Executive to optimise product presentation.

This role would suit a technically proficient and creative problem-solver, someone who is comfortable thriving in an agile, high-volume production environment. Somone keen to participate in discussions and initiatives related to new technologies, workflows, and creative approaches, contributing ideas and supporting proof-of-concept projects where applicable.

Please note – you will be required to be onsite in our Port Melbourne-based studios on average 4 - 5 days a week.

About You
  • You have proven experience as a Photographer, with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in high-volume studio product and lifestyle photography, with an emphasis on ecom-related channels.
  • You have advanced proficiency with professional DSLR/Mirrorless cameras, studio lighting equipment (strobes, continuous lights), and tethered shooting software, such as Capture One.
  • You hold a solid understanding of photographic principles including composition, lighting, colour theory, and depth of field.
  • You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop and Lightroom, for basic image adjustments and file management.
  • You demonstrate an ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced production environment while maintaining high standards of quality
  • You’re passionate about product presentation that is on brand and attractive to consumers
  • You’re a strong communicator, with interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration within a team, taking direction, and adapting to evolving creative and technical requirements.
  • You have a hungry interest and curiosity for emerging technologies and their application in visual content creation, including AI.
