Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section) (RFDS) in Roma is seeking a PHC Pilot to deliver critical healthcare by air across regional and remote Queensland. This full-time role blends aviation excellence with a strong service ethos, operating Beechcraft King Airs from the Roma Base.

You will join a multidisciplinary team, managing patient transport and primary health care flights, with relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Current Instrument Rating - Multi Engine Aircraft with four renewals.
• Current Australian ATPL / CPL and class 1 medical.
• Total flight time 2500 hours.
• 1000 hours as Pilot Multi-engine aircraft.
• 100 hours as Pilot in Command at night.
• 200 hours instrument time.
• 50 hours on type or similar aircraft.
• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or valid working rights.

Responsibilities

• Operate RFDS aircraft safely following procedures and aviation regs.
• Prepare aircraft for flight including refuelling and oxygen replenishment.
• Complete operational and regulatory documentation.
• Maintain base knowledge, systems and records.
• Contribute to safety and teamwork culture.
