Job summary

Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Medicines Management Technician to work across wards and satellite pharmacies, delivering safe, cost-effective pharmaceutical care and comprehensive medication histories.

You will support pharmacists, manage dispensing workflows, and help training staff to ensure high standards of patient-centred medicines optimisation in a fast-paced teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• Must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Qualified Pharmacy Technician with demonstrable experience in pharmacy settings.
• Experience delivering medicines optimisation and patient care in a hospital environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical technical service to POD wards, including comprehensive medication histories.
• Deliver cost-effective dispensing services to wards and support ward staff with concordance and education.
• Support clinical pharmacists on POD wards to provide complete pharmaceutical care.
