Barwon Health's Pharmacy Department at University Hospital Geelong is seeking a Pharmacy Technician for a permanent part-time role (48 hours per fortnight). You will support safe and efficient medication supply for inpatients and outpatients, working across Barwon Health's campuses as needed.

In this collaborative team, you will assist with dispensing, stock management and record-keeping while contributing to quality improvement and patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of Certificate III in Hospital-Health Services Pharmacy Support or willingness to complete within an agreed timeframe.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a strong focus on customer service.
• High level of accuracy, attention to detail and ability to work in a busy team.
• Knowledge of the PBS and previous hospital or community pharmacy experience desirable.

About The Role

Join Barwon Health's Pharmacy Department as a Pharmacy Technician and play an important role in supporting the safe and efficient supply of medications to patients. Based at University Hospital Geelong, this position may also require you to work across Barwon Health's three campuses.

Working closely with dispensary and ward pharmacists, you'll support the delivery of high-quality pharmacy services to both inpatients and outpatients. This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills within a collaborative team while contributing to exceptional patient care.
