Job Description: Pharmacy Manager at Brighton Hospital | Permanent | Full Time, Up to £65,000 per annum dependent on experience, 37.5 hours per week.

Main Duties

Provide leadership and advice on medicines management, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and legal processes across clinical departments. Provide expert clinical input into oncology treatment pathways and medicines optimisation. Lead, motivate, and manage the pharmacy team, and optimise antimicrobial management to minimise hospital-acquired infections.

  • Chair the Medicines Management Forum quarterly.
  • Provide expert clinical input into oncology treatment pathways and medicines optimisation.

Person Specification

To be successful, you will have:

  • Experience working in a clinical setting as a Pharmacist.
  • Leadership/managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting.
  • Awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Passion to deliver excellent care in a challenging environment.
